La "Detective Erika"é destinata a venire ricordata come una delle prime ninfee ISG Blu\\Viola apparse sul mercato. E' stata creata da Zijun Li di Guangzhau (Cina)nel 2013. Il nome "Detective Erika" deriva da quello del personaggio preferito di un roanzo letto dal sig. Zijun, detective Erica Furundo,appunto.
E' una ninfea eccezionale, molto rifiorente e vigorosa, che produce fiori fino a di 20 cm di diametro ed il colore è particolarmente intenso.
I petali sono stretti ed allungati e nell'insieme le danno la forma di una stella.
Nel 2016 "Detective Erika" é stata premiata miglior nuova ninfea vincendo il 1° premio allo "International waterlily and Water Gardening Society, sezione ISG Waterlily"
