Mimulus luteus

Mimulus luteus is a remarkably adaptable plant, widespread from New Mexico to Alaska. It has stems that bear opposite, oval and serrated leaves. The flowers, shaped like a "snapdragon", are a bright yellow color with brown spots. These flowers are grouped in a terminal inflorescence, making the plant particularly decorative during the flowering season.
